I remember those days when I started working on SharePoint technologies back in year 2001. It was in SPS 2001 release and for me it was kind of self learning all alone. Finding content used to be real fun and that's how I learnt most on SharePoint & related technologies. Today if someone wants to start learning SharePoint, I am sure there is enough content available but he/she can get confused about where to start with.

I thought of putting collection of some of the important reference links on the Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. This covers the download links from RTM Release to the latest cumulative build of February 2009. This also has link to the installation guide and downloadable technet library content in CHM format. I am sure this will be good enough to start with.
