Tracking and reporting on your E-Learning products

One valuable benefit of Software Assurance is access to the included E-Learning courses, which provide access to self-paced, interactive training that is developed by Microsoft experts. These courses are designed to help improve your client's product proficiency, boost productivity, and lower organizational training costs. In addition, for any of you who heard John Nicolau speak at Worldwide Partner Conference with me or during the “5W/50 Series - More Money through Higher-Value Transactions with SMB Customers” session we did together, it provides a great way for you to help introduce training as a valuable resource for your clients and opens doors for more engagements both now and in the future.

For your clients that have Software Assurance and therefore have access to E-Learning courses, how do they know what courses are being utilized by their employees? Or how many/which courses are being consumed? Or how can they verify if people are taking the training they told everyone to? The answer is, with the “Business Administration Center,” now available online for reporting and tracking of E-Learning benefits use and consumption.

As you can see below, this tool allows you to run a report:

• From any date range
• Showing Course Activity, Assessment Activity, or Login Activity
• From any qualifying License Agreement

Then once the report is generated, it displays all of the pertinent information, such as: Agreement Number, Student Id, First Name, Last Name, Email Address, Course Title, Total Number Of Topics In Course, Course Topics Completed, Percent Course Topics Completed, Course Complete, Date Course First Accessed, Date Course Last Accessed, # Of Times Topics Accessed, and Total Time In Course.

Right from the screen, the admins can choose to export the report into a variety of output formats for easier use and consumption. So not only do they get the E-Learning courses themselves, they also have an online way to track and measure their true impact for their employees and their organization through utilization figures.
