Microsoft Virtualisation Learning – Free eLearning Collection

Microsoft Virtualisation

There’s loads of information out there on the web around Microsoft Virtualisation, with the launches of Hyper-V a few months back, App-V 4.5 and Hyper-V Server 2008 a week or so ago, and obviously, Terminal Services which shipped as part of Windows Server 2008 back in February.  However, what if you want to start learning more about the technologies, and how to use them, eLearning is a great asset to you, and we’ve announced 4 clinics, for a total of 7 hours, of free eLearning.

You can get to the collection from here.  The 4 clinics that are provided within the collection, are:

  • Clinic 5935: Introducing Hyper-V in Windows Server 2008
  • Clinic 6334: Exploring Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager 2008
  • Clinic 6335: Exploring Microsoft Application Virtualization
  • Clinic 6336: Exploring Terminal Services in Windows Server 2008

Obviously these shouldn’t be used as a substitute for quality training from the numerous vendors in the market, but it’s a good start if you’re looking to gain an initial level of knowledge around the technologies.
